When living with serious medical or mental health conditions includes shattered dreams related to the future of the world/planet, hospice and related grief carers must address all the losses. Meeting someone where they are is a hallmark task for caring workers. In the session, these overlapping issues will be addressed for grief support and resiliency tools no matter what.

Learning Outcomes

1 )Participants will gain comfort in addressing the combination of  personal losses and assumed world futures; 2) Participants will gain tools for aiding persons to "break their losses" into manageable amounts, rather than overload of all; 3) participants gain clarity about losses and political convictions.
