Rev. Jeffrey R. Jones, MDiv, is the spiritual care coordinator for the Essentia Health St Mary’s Hospice East Range Team in Virginia MN. Before coming to Essentia in late 2015, Jeffrey completed a 2 year CPE Residency (2013 to 2015) at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI. His second year emphasis was in hospice where he was exposed to a vibrant, collaborative healthy team approach. As a wounded healer, Jeffrey regularly seeks to collaborate with multiple disciplines to effectively care for patients & families. Jeffrey is an ordained minister with the Evangelical Covenant Church. He served in the parish for 21 years. The last 11 of those years were spent serving as the Staff Chaplain overseeing 4 to 8 volunteers at what is now Essentia Health Virginia Hospital. Jeffrey lives with his wife in Aurora MN. They have 2 two adult age children.
