Matt LoConte MD, graduated from University of Illinois – Chicago medical school, and received his Internal Medicine training at Oregon Health and Science University – Portland. He completed his Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship in 2005 at the University of Wisconsin – Madison after having completed his Geriatrics Fellowship there as well. He has been caring for patients in hospice and palliative care ever since. He has served as a clinician-educator, a fellowship program director, a clinical ethics co-chair, a chief of palliative medicine, and hospice physician amongst other roles. He is currently Medical Director for SSM Health at Home Hospice in the south central Wisconsin area.
