Jennifer Kuyava completed her medical degree at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities. She completed residency in Family Medicine and then fellowship in Hospice & Palliative Medicine, both at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Her interest in hospice and palliative care comes from a desire to decrease suffering and improve quality of life. She finds improving complex symptoms in people dealing with serious illness to be very rewarding. She is fascinated and perplexed by our medical system and hopes to improve things for those dealing with financial toxicity. She has been learning to knit and woodwork. She enjoyed being in a local musical this past summer and has taken up playing the piano again.
