Jill Massmann, DNP, APRN, AGCNS-BC, ACHPN, OCN, is an Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist who specializes in conversations in serious illness, symptom management, discussing goals of care, end of life care, and change implementation. She has 15 years of nursing experience including as a staff and charge nurse on an inpatient oncology unit as well as 6 years of advanced practice nursing on an inpatient palliative care service. Jill is the Director of Clinical Services role at a residential hospice house in which she functions in a provider role as well as leading and overseeing all direct clinical care. She works with nursing staff at the bedside as well as provides education to nursing and facility staff. She enjoys advocating for evidence-based change, has led evidence-based quality improvement projects focused on process change and quality patient care, and has published on the topic of communication in serious illness.
