Rob is the Director of Spiritual Care at Regions Hospital and serves as a chaplain on the Regions' Palliative Care Team. He has been a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains for over 25 years. He has written and presented about the spiritual aspect of serious illness. He helped start and serves as a moderator for Schwartz Center Rounds at Regions. He chairs the Regions Organ, Tissue, and Eye Donation Committee. Rob appreciates the value of poetry as a learning and self-care tool for health caregivers and has had two of his poems published in the Journal of Palliative Medicine.
