Janie Sydor, RN (pronouns: they/them) is a community-oriented activist, amateur puppeteer, artist and a celebrator of the natural world. They have worked with Our Lady of Peace Hospice for 13 years in a variety of nursing positions, currently acting as clinical nurse educator and palliative care nurse. They are passionate about helping people identify their quality of life goals and priorities. They value the deep connection and communal healing that comes with supporting persons through end of life care. They believe the more often we discuss how we are navigating this crazy beautiful world and the care we wish to receive, the more readily we can provide care and support to others.
