Trained in Internal Medicine and Palliative Care, worked as a hospice medical director in Washington, D.C.(which was the most interesting place to work in hospice) prior to moving home to Minnesota. Now, palliative care provider at the Minneapolis VA in a variety of settings: inpatient, outpatient and palliative care unit/end-of-life care unit. Also involved in medical student, resident, and palliative care fellow education.
