Greg Leahy is a Program Administrator at the Minnesota Department of Human Services(DHS). He has worked at DHS since 1995. He spent 13 years in the Health Care Operations Division working in the Claims Department. His primary responsibilities included implementation of new Medicaid programs and changes to the MMIS payment system to accommodate these changes. In December 2008, Greg joined the Nursing Facility Rates and Policy area in the Continuing Care Administration Division. In this position, Greg is using his claims experience to assure payment accuracy as well as reviewing NF policy and updating as necessary. Greg has done numerous presentations throughout the years for both MN Nursing Home Organizations and continues to be a contact for complex issues that arise in day to day operations of the NF business office as well as assisting hospice providers with their pass-thru billing.
